Located in Escondido, CA, Mark Huxhold currently owns his own firm providing tax and accounting services to individuals, businesses, and not-fo- profit agencies. Before starting his own firm, he worked for two local accounting firms where he specialized in auditing and business consulting.
Prior to entering public accounting in 2003, Mark worked for 18 years in private industry holding various accounting positions, most recently controller of a local biotech company. Mark has extensive corporate accounting experience involving all aspects of accounts payable, account receivable, credit/collections, payroll, general ledger control, budget and forecast preparation, development of financial statements, cash management, project management, and investing.
Mark also teaches Intermediate Accounting and Auditing at UCSD’s Extension Program.
Mark is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mark received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Finance) from San Diego State University.
